By accessing or using MedWatch (medwatch.com.au), operated by Off The Ground Agency ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this website.

Description of Service

MedWatch is a free, publicly accessible platform that tracks Australian medicine shortages reported by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and medicine pricing from the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). The platform is designed to improve transparency around medicine availability and cost for Australian patients, carers, and healthcare workers.

Data Accuracy and Sources

Medicine data displayed on MedWatch is sourced from:

Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)

Medicine names, item codes, formulations, pricing, and co-payment information published by the Australian Government at data.pbs.gov.au.

Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)

Medicine shortage reports including shortage reasons, expected resolution dates, and suggested alternatives.

While we endeavour to present this data accurately, MedWatch does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of any information displayed. Data may be subject to delays between publication by the TGA or PBS and availability on MedWatch. For authoritative medicine information, always refer to the original TGA or PBS source.

Acceptable Use

You may use MedWatch for lawful purposes including personal health research, patient education, healthcare decision support, and general information. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to MedWatch systems or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data in a manner that degrades service for other users
• Misrepresent MedWatch data as official TGA or PBS communications
• Redistribute MedWatch data for commercial purposes without attribution
• Use MedWatch to provide medical advice to others without appropriate professional qualifications

Intellectual Property

The MedWatch platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Off The Ground Agency. Medicine data sourced from the PBS and TGA is published by the Australian Government and remains the property of the Commonwealth of Australia.

Limitation of Liability

MedWatch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Off The Ground Agency shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use MedWatch, including but not limited to any health decisions made based on information presented on the platform.

No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Use of MedWatch does not create a doctor-patient, pharmacist-patient, or any other healthcare provider relationship between you and Off The Ground Agency. MedWatch is a data transparency tool, not a healthcare service.
